10 Star Trek Actors Who Lent Their Voices To Family Guy

1. Wallace Shawn

Family Guy TNG
FOX

Easily the most important character on this list, despite how few episodes he was actually in. There are a good few recurring enemies in the series, but not many at all have the skills to go toe-to-toe with Stewie Griffin.

When Stewie learns of his parents' plan to have another baby, he shrinks himself down to microscopic size in order to manually destroy all of Peter's sperm cells. In doing so, he meets the then-unborn Bertram, whom he forms an alliance with. The relationship turns sour, however, when Stewie realises that Bertram could be a threat to his diabolical plans.

Peter donates sperm later in the series, and Bertram is finally born, plotting revenge against Stewie and thus giving rise to a fierce archrivalry that was over all too soon. In Renaissance Italy, of all places.

Anyone with a working pair of ears will recognise Bertram's distinctive rasp as that of Wallace Shawn, famous for voicing Rex in the Toy Story films, as well as playing the Ferengi Grand Nagus Zek in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The latter role is instrumental in the series' Ferengi subplot, and the moral ambiguity of the character is the perfect foundation for the all-out villainous role of Bertram.

It's just a shame Stewie had to put an end to him so quickly.
