As mentioned earlier, the second season of the show was rife with poor choices and questionable logic from almost every character in the group.

Andrea was not exempt, and while she would go on to make a series of mistakes that lead to her own death in the third season, nothing quite tops the time she almost killed Daryl.

Having had a more than rough experience in the forest looking for Sophia, Daryl returned to the farm looking like a walker. Having spotted him from afar, Andrea prepares to shoot him but is stopped by Shane and Rick, who insist on dealing with themselves.

After all, Rick doesn't want to cause any problems with Hershel, who at this point doesn't want any walkers to be killed on his farm. Andrea, desperate to prove herself decides to take the shot anyway.

Luckily for Daryl it only grazes his head, but you have to wonder what Andrea was thinking. It was a waste of a bullet, she could've easily accidentally hit Rick or Shane and the sound of the gunshot will attract more walkers. Taking the shot was nothing more than an attempt to show off that hilariously backfired.
