10 Surprising Things Leonard Nimoy Did

2. He Conquered The Transformers Franchise Too

A lot of Star Trek: The Original Series fans aren't exactly into the more recent bang-crash-thud spectacle of the Transformers movies, so they may well be unaware that Leonard Nimoy guest starred as one of the best things in those films. Nimoy provided the voice of the CGI'd Sentinel Prime in the third Transformers movie, Dark Of The Moon (and he effortlessly eclipsed everything else in that whole film). But even Transformers fans may have forgotten that Nimoy had an earlier association with the Transformers - he also voiced Galvatron in The Transformers: The Movie way back in 1986. For many fans of the robots in disguise, that movie was the last time the franchise was any darn good.
