10 Terrible Glee Musical Numbers

8. One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer: Amos Milburn

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AySEI7iCds If there is one thing I can not stand about Glee it is when they try to make Will Schuester cool. I'm sorry Will, but you were not cool when you rapped along to Kanye's Gold-digger in the second episode of Glee ever, and you are no more cool now. If anything, the simple fact that you asked Finn to be your best man at your wedding in Season 3 means you are the exact opposite of cool. This isn't to say I hate the character- I genuinely think he has a good voice and is criminally underused, but just accept the fact that no one who watches the show thinks you are cool and nor have they ever thought you were. Who was asking for the Glee characters Beaste and Will to sing a drunken duet of a truly horrible to each other in Season 2 of Glee? Absolutely no one is who. This whole performance seems to be more about trying to make the adults in the show (although all of the teenagers are adults in real life too) happy and giving them something to do... but please don't bore the audience just because you have run out of ideas for your older cast members. This whole performance was a waste of 3 minutes which Glee could have easily been using to wow us with something great, instead of bore us so much that we'd need one bourbon, one scotch and one beer just to make it to the end of this number.

I am a recent Screenwriting for Film and Television graduate from the UK. I am an unashamed geek who loves everything Marvel, and anything Joss Whedon has ever touched (except for maybe Alien Resurrection and Titan A.E). My current favorite TV shows are Breaking Bad, Family Guy, House of Cards, Game of Thrones, American Horror Story, Homeland and Glee. I look forward to debating things with all of you in the future.
