10 Things Netflix’s Ted Bundy Documentary Left Out

5. The Other Killings He's Linked To

Mere hours before he was executed, and following years of denying any and all blame, Bundy suddenly had a change of heart. He summoned an interview and confessed to the murder of 30 women between 1974-1978. That, even to some talking heads in the series, seemed very, very low.

Even so, there's zero attempt to give credence to rumours about other killings he was linked to.

Ted is still a suspect in unsolved cases like the disappearance of eight year old Ann Marie Burr in 1961 (which would've occurred when Bundy was 14), the deaths of flight attendants Lisa E. Wick and Lonnie Trumbull in 1966 and 24 year old Rita Curran in 1971, just to name a few.

In a 1987 interview with detective Robert Keppel, Ted said there were some incidents he simply couldn't talk about. They were "too close to home" or involved victims who were "very young". It's always weird when convicted murderers carry some sort of bastardised in-built moral compass nobody else can hope to understand.
