This is one of the boldest, most debatable claims on the list, because Littlefinger's power is an iceberg. We may still have only seen a shard of what he is capable of, with the rest of his devilish plans lurking beneath the surface. He's an incredible character capable of plucking out a plot-filled hand grenade and tossing it nonchalantly into the mix. The actual game of thrones is all being played on Baelish's board, and if he decides that somebody needs to die, they die. He's climbing the ladder at an alarming rate, but I can't help but feel like his time will run out at the very end. Baelish has a long time left in the show, but once he's run out of rungs to haul himself up onto, he could be in line for an enormous fall.
