This being 2017, a keen Redditor did scrutinise it frame for frame, revealing Sarah Palmer's face superimposed onto it - suggesting that this entity, not the Mother/Experiment, is harvesting on the garmonbozia bounty accrued throughout the tragedy that is her life.
This is a disturbing and organic, baked-in extension of the Black Lodge mythology - and the stuff of which another quarter century of discussion is made of.
