4. Filoni Should Have Been Able To Tell His Story In Order

Quick history lesson. Before Rebels, series creator Dave Filoni worked on Star Wars: The Clone Wars on Cartoon Network for five seasons, until it was cancelled and picked up for a sixth season by Netflix. After that season, Filoni worked on Rebels from 2014 until 2018. After the Rebels finale and the launch of Disney+, he finally finished the story he'd been telling since 2008 with the final season of Clone Wars.

While every season Filoni oversaw works, it would have felt more complete if he were able to tell his story in order. Plenty of moments in Rebels, such as Maul's entire storyline and Ahsoka's duel with Anakin, hit much harder after watching the Clone Wars finale.

In a perfect world with no cancellations, Filoni's TV seasons would all have been improved if they had aired in chronological order.
