It's no secret that body-shaming is huge problem in modern society. On RuPaul's Drag Race, queens of all shapes and sizes participate, and some of the greatest competitors in the show's history have been full-figured gals. In season four, Latrice Royale broke out as a kind, funny, and beautiful queen whose years of experience allowed her to take on a role as leader amongst the contestants. Though she didn't win the competition, she was voted Miss Congeniality by fans and was a part of RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars. More recently, season seven saw Ginger Minj dominate the competition, using her singing and acting talent to ace several challenges (including "Snatch Game," where she played a not-very-nice-but-very-funny version of Adele). Many fans expected Minj to become the first full-figured winner of the competition, and while it wasn't to be, she reached the finals and proved her charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent.
