This episode was deemed so unsuitable it was shunned by FOX and only released on DVD. The episode in question "Partial Terms of Endearment" was originally meant to be the season 8 finale.
The reason it was shunned by FOX was because it covered arguably the most debated topic in modern politics - abortion. The episode finds Lois becoming a surrogate mother for a couple who are unable to conceive a child themselves. However, after the couple die in a car crash, Lois is left with a decision to make. Will she keep the child or choose to abort it?
The episode simply ends with Peter saying "We had the abortion". It remains only one of two Family Guy episodes deemed too inappropriate by FOX.
