10 TV Actors Destined To Shine In 2020
5. Curran Walters
Curran Walters impressed Titans fans when he made his first guest appearance on the show during its debut season. The first actor to play Jason Todd/Robin in a live-action production, his charismatic performance was so in-line with the comic book iteration of the character that he left us all wanting more. And when he was promoted to a regular for the second season of the show, that's exactly what he gave us.
Titans' ensemble nature means that, more often that not, certain characters aren't given the focus they require in order to fully blossom but that wasn't going to stop Walters from trying his damnedest to make it happen.
In spite of Jason's limited screen time in the back half of the season, he capitalized on his character's troubled backstory by allowing us to see different sides to his personality (as opposed to the cocky mask that he usually wore), tackling it with a raw authenticity that just shouldn't have been possible in that short amount of time - and in the process, he became Season 2's standout performer.
With the character likely to play a major part in the third season later this year, it's time for Walters to once again prove why he's quickly becoming one of the most formidable young actors in any medium today.
