In the past five years Nick Robinson has gone from strength-to-strength on the big screen, turning in memorable performances in big-budget spectacles like Jurassic World and The 5th Wave while truly captivating audiences in The Kings of Summer and Love, Simon.
Fresh off a successful run on Broadway, Robinson will set his sights on FX/Hulu's A Teacher - a miniseries based on the 2013 film in which a teacher engages in an illegal affair with one of her male students.
Make no mistake about it, his presence on this list isn't trying to indicate that he's going to catch us off-guard with an unexpectedly amazing performance because he's already an expert in that field. This year, however, he'll just do it on the small screen instead.
In spite of his cinematic resume, Robinson is no stranger to television as he got his start on ABC Family sitcom Melissa & Joey, so he'll have no problem adapting to the requirements of the miniseries. And to top it all off, he'll also reprise his most famous role in the Love, Simon spin-off series by serving as its narrator.
