10 TV Shows Just Saved From Cancellation

6. Man With A Plan

The cast of Friends haven't fared all that well when it comes to their TV roles afterwards, but Matt LeBlanc has done better than most. Despite the failure of Joey straight after, he enjoyed some success with Episodes, and his latest sitcom, Man With A Plan, has now been picked up for its fourth season.

Sure, it's a long, long way from Friends in terms of both ratings and quality, but it's at least nice that LeBlanc is getting a regular TV slot. Things hadn't looked good for the show when CBS decided to hold the third season back into the mid-season, giving it just a 13 episode order, and the ratings dropped off slightly too.

It's unclear just how many episodes it's coming back for, but if it's a full-season order then it'll move the show a lot closer to syndication, which might well be in CBS' long-term thinking.
