10 TV Shows Just Saved From Cancellation

1. Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has had something of a creative revival over the past couple of years, with a later timeslot giving the show a bit more freedom and the series gaining a new sense of purpose, which most recently has led to it tying in with Avengers: Infinity War.

That hasn't led to an uptick in viewers, and there's been plenty of chatter about the show ending over the last year or so (especially with Disney launching their own streaming service and a Marvel show with it), but now ABC have confirmed the series will be back for a shortened sixth season of 13 episodes, which should at least give the show a chance to go out on its own terms if nothing else.
