CBS' update of the Sherlock Holmes story - with Jonny Lee Miller in the title role, and Lucy Liu as Dr Watson - has had a couple of close shaves when it comes to cancellation, but will somewhat surprisingly return for a seventh season.

It's one of the network's lowest-rated show's in the United States, but it does reportedly bring in a lot of money in both international and off-network deals, allowing them to ignore the viewership and keep the casebook open a while longer.
