8. Hannibal

One of the tensest, most complex, and truly harrowing shows on TV, Hannibal was a masterpiece, unjustly robbed of a fourth season. Mads Mikkelsen had the unenviable task of stepping into the shoes of, not only one of the most well-known characters in all of cinema, but those of Sir Anthony Hopkins. Incredibly, he was arguably just as strong in the role as his predecessor.

Mikkelsen is the kind of man who could read the phonebook and captivate any audience, so just imagine listening to him detail everything about his performance, how he attacked such a role, and how he perceived the inner workings of Hannibal Lecter's mind.

The show was not made great by just Mikkelsen, however. Opposite him was the incredibly talented Hugh Dancy, who played the emotionally damaged Will Graham. The Englishman portrayed the character in such a way that even Edward Norton couldn't, and there is sure to be a plethora of stories to be told around bringing such a troubled character to life.

Then of course there are the ultra-graphic, stomach-churning set pieces that came to be a staple of the show, how these were created, and what it was like to work on such a brutal set.
