10 TV Shows That Just Got Cancelled

9. Vagrant Queen

Im Not Okay With This
Syfy

For being a network that produces sci-fi content, it's a bit of a shame that Syfy has earned itself a reputation for, well, cancelling sci-fi content. In recent years, it's canned promising shows like Krypton, Dark Matter and, most notorious of all, The Expanse (though it was thankfully saved by Amazon). Vagrant Queen was the latest casualty.

Based on the Vault comic, it was set in a dystopian futuristic world and followed the no-nonsense Elida who, having made her way through life as a scavenger, realised that there was more to her family history than she knew. And from there, it becomes a wacky over-the-top space race as she tries to outrun the despicable Commander Lazaro.

The show was certainly an acquired taste, but it never took itself too seriously and that made it an enjoyable enough watch. Unfortunately, a second season of hilarity just wasn't on the cards.
