IFC's Hank Azaria-starring comedy series follows a disgraced play-by-play announcer who, after a decade of obscurity following a career-ending meltdown on air, attempts to get his life back on track by calling minor league ball in a small town. During its time on the air, it received positive reviews - many of which were aimed at Azaria's performance - and solid ratings, even becoming IFC's highest-rating new series during its debut year.

However, Jim Brockmire's redemption will come to an end in the foreseeable, as IFC confirmed in December that the show's upcoming fourth season (which it had been renewed for nearly two years ago) would indeed be its last.
