A Nickelodeon classic for anyone who grew up in the 90s, the initial run of Rugrats spawned 172 episodes, three movies, a video game, comics, and then its own spin-off/continuation series, All Grown Up.

With nostalgia opening up a huge market though, and since we're entering the era of 90s nostalgia quite specifically, it is, of course, coming back. A revival has been under consideration for a few years now, but it was only back in June that it was 100% confirmed. Nickelodeon have ordered 26 new episodes of the show initially, while there are also plans for a CGI/live-action movie too, which is expected to land in 2020.
