7. The Simpsons
While
The Simpsons is still fresh on my mind... One of the most (painfully) enduring comedy series of all time following the misadventures of a family of five in the town of Springfield. Spanning 26 seasons thus far and showing no signs of ever going away any time soon sadly, until very recently the show has kept the exact same opening arrangement sans a few subtle differences in between episodes (i.e. Lisa's saxo-mo-phone riff) and an abridged opening in some episodes. Even today the arrangement remains largely the same; it's just the visuals that have been updated, including new appearances and some very, very strange couch gags. The show lately has been, quite honestly, hit or miss. Mostly miss. However, the theme that was around in the early '90s, the glory days when the great Conan O'Brien helmed some of the greatest episodes of all time (including my all time favorite, "Marge vs. the Monorail") as the show's head writer, the early opening theme that show the quirks of our lovable yellow friends is the one remembered here. For your listening pleasure,
The Simpsons. (Unfortunately, the actual opening titles are nowhere to be found, so all I've got is the actual song)
