2. Gus Fring Loses His Face (Season 4, Episode 13)
Drug kingpin Gustavo Fring goes out in a big way in this scene. At once, his death as the result of the bell-rigged explosive device is ghastly and incredible. Vince Gilligan directed this episode, and it's another one of his favorite scenes from the series. According to Gilligan, the scene required 19 takes to get it right, which he said was "about 15 takes more than we usually do."
