10 Upcoming Netflix TV Shows You Need To Binge-Watch

Netflix has entertained us all year, but the best may be yet to come...

It's hard to remember a time when Netflix didn't exist. Ushering in a new wave of streaming entertainment, the platform once hosted a wide range of popular TV shows before it ultimately started making its own and since then it has gone on to become a reliable source of both entertainment and escapism for us all. And that has been particularly true during these incredibly unsettling times.

Yes, Netflix has kept us all engaged throughout this past year, still managing to offer its consumers new and original content when films and TV release schedules across the world were disrupted - thanks in no small part to how much content they film and how far in advance they tend to film it.

As a result, it offered fans new shows like Locke & Key, Cursed and Hollywood while also bringing back the likes of The Umbrella Academy, 13 Reasons Why, Lucifer and The Politician for new seasons.

But there's more where all that came from, so with that in mind, let's take a look at some of Netflix's most intriguing upcoming shows that you should absolutely binge whenever they drop on the service.

10. Grand Army

With the likes of Euphoria and We Are Who We Are, we are experiencing a wave of teen dramas that don't play up to the tropes typically associated with teen/YA television. It's refreshing to see far different storylines explored, and ultimately this allows for more nuanced characters and authentic storylines. And now, it seems that Netflix is set to join the fray with Grand Army.

A show that follows five teenagers in high school, Grand Army will explore issues that these teens face on a daily basis in great emotional depth, highlighting their battles with racial injustice, sexual identity and an abundance of other factors as they attempt to make something of themselves.

Not much else is known about the show at this time, but if you watched the teaser trailer, chances are that you were left with goosebumps too. Definitely worth checking this one out when it drops in October.

Release date: October 19
