10 Ways To Save Family Guy

9. End It (And Work On Going Out On A High)

There's still a fair amount of creative juices left in the Family Guy team. And if that is indeed the case, great. However, how long will that really last? The show is already in decline. A writing staff shake-up might help, maybe some new voices in the room, but past that? Three seasons? Four? At what point do you want to start looking at the end game? In all honestly, they probably should be already. The best thing for Family Guy might just be to end it, rather than have it drag on too long, and go out on a high. There's no need to try and mimic The Simpsons - no other show will ever release that many classic episodes. And MacFarlane and company don't need to. They're made their mark on their own (in fact, maybe The Simpsons comparisons just need to stop at some point). The show has been a hit, set a trend, and will live on in syndication for years to come. Why not leave it at that? However, if they're not going to end it, then here are a few more suggestions.
