Andrew Lincoln's past is probably pretty well known to most British audiences. It is pretty odd seeing him play the badass, tortured Southern cop Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead compared to his turn as bumbling floppy-haired Egg from This Life, bumbling floppy-haired Simon in Channel 4 sitcom Teachers, and bumbling floppy-haired psycho stalker Mark in Love Actually. That's what he's best known for outside of The Walking Dead. What he's less known for is the 2000 British romantic comedy Offending Angels, a film that earned a degree of notoriety because it took either £89 or £79 at the British box office, depending on who you asked. Offending Angels did not receive good reviews. The BBC called it a "truly awful pile of garbage". Lincoln played one of two shiftless slackers who get visited by a couple of angels who try and help them get their life back on track. Angels who used to be a dolphin and squirrel, respectively. Now seeing Rick Grimes show up at Keira Knightley's house on Christmas Eve with a bunch of placards and a boombox doesn't seem half as weird...
