10 Worst Characters In Game Of Thrones

7. Rickon Stark

Game of Thrones The Mountain
HBO

Poor Rickon. Being the youngest of the Starks meant that, while his brother was off fighting a war, his half-brother went to the Wall, and his sisters travelled to King's Landing, he was stuck at Winterfell with Bran - and being a young child he didn't really get any significant lines, or much of anything to do except be a bit annoying and useless.

Indeed, his most memorable act wasn't really his, with Theon pretending to burn his body. At least Bran's story picked up a bit when they separated, but Rickon merely disappeared off the face of Westeros, and even worse took Osha with him.

When he did return, years later, it was as a political pawn, and he didn't even utter a word before his inevitable death, nor could he even manage to zig-zag.

NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far. A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
