10 Worst Community Episodes Of All Time

3. Economics Of Marine Biology (Season 4 Episode 7)

Community Economics
Sony Pictures Television

In a bid to land a wealthy student, Dean and Annie try to seduce him by portraying Greendale as the ultimate party school offering classes in all his interests. Jeff is tasked with keeping Pierce out of the way so that he doesn't scare him off and Abed creates a fraternity as a homage to college comedy movies.

Why it sucks: The writers got this one all wrong when they decided to make Abed's story a C plot. Instead of having Shirley and Troy's P.E.E story about them learning Physical Education Education, they should have had Troy, Abed and Shirley run their fraternity which undoubtedly would have resulted in all kinds of amazing moments.

The ending is also repetitive and unimaginative when Pierce discovers that Jeff is only spending time with him in order to keep him away from campus, Jeff apologises and tells the rest of the group to be nicer to Pierce. Sound familiar?

What doesn't suck: Even though Joel McHale and Chevy Chase famously didn't get along at all on set, the scenes with Pierce and Jeff together are a great reminder of the comedic relationship they had in season 1.

I see my role at WhatCulture the same way my wife sees my role as a lover: I contribute in a very small way, my presence is barely noticeable and I’m not entirely sure if the laughter is at me or with me.
