10 Worst Kings In Game Of Thrones

1. Aegon IV

Here we go, we've made it to the worst of the worst, the lowest of the low, Aegon IV Targaryen, commonly known as Aegon The Unworthy. He came with all the decadence and irresponsibility of Robert with a heart of pure malice, a lust for death and total disregard for human life. You don't need me to tell you that's a terrifying concoction. His 12-year reign sucked the life out of Westeros and brought the realm to breaking point. He made unbelievably stupid decisions like trading away a dragon's egg in order to sleep with another Lord's three young daughters at once. He was utterly incompetent in his ambitions and his demands to construct seven wood and iron dragons backfired spectacularly (and literally) as the wildfire exploded and torched his enormous siege constructions before they could even be used. And then just when the realm looked set for a boost, it was ripped to shreds as Aegon IV used his final strength to legitimise his NINE illegitimate children. This sparked a seismic struggle for power and caused the deaths of an uncountable number of people from all areas in the Seven Kingdoms. He quite simply broke the world.
