11 Celebrities Who Rejected The Simpsons

2. Quentin Tarantino

The episode: 'Simpsoncalifragilisticexpiala(Annoyed Grunt)cious' The role: Quentin Tarantino as Quentin Tarantino When show-within-a-show Itchy & Scratchy did a Reservoir Dogs/Pulp Fiction parody, the demigod of brutality and orchestrator of gore, Quentin Tarantino, showed up. Except the real Tarantino didn't. The story goes that Quentin Tarantino accepted the call from the producers but scoffed at the script, apparently because the lines were 'insulting', although which part isn't entirely clear. Perhaps it was the "violence is everywhere in society" lines? Or maybe the decapitation that takes place during the soliloquy? We will probably never know for sure, but one thing is certain: there are clearly no hard feelings between Tarantino and the show because he's been seen in public wearing the Simpsonsised version of the character on a t-shirt since.
