9 Game Of Thrones Actors Who Were Also In Harry Potter

7. Julian Glover

If, like myself, you're as scared of spiders as Ron Weasley is, then Aragog is the most frightening monster in Harry Potter, and one of the scariest in recent cinema in general. Especially when you're watching it as a twelve-year-old (and pretending you're not scared when finding an image 13-years-later...).

The man responsible for giving the terrifying creation a voice, one that only adds to the creepiness, is Julian Glover. When he isn't lending his vocal talents to giant arachnids, Glover can be seen giving words of not-quite-wisdom to the Lannisters, in his role on Thrones as Grand Maester Pycelle. He was ousted from his position by Tyrion, only to be reinstated by Lord Tywin, who he helped sack King's Landing by advising the gates be opened to him after the Battle of the Trident.

He's generally served on the small council as a Cersei loyalist, yet even he had reservations about Qyburn and his experiments. Just incase that isn't enough to secure his credentials as an icon for geeks everywhere, he has also appeared in Doctor Who, The Empire Strikes Back, For Your Eyes Only, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. None quite as horrific as Aragog though.
