1. Goldilocks And The Jivin' Bears
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yC8ZY8DgnsU Also coming out in 1944, this is the last of the Censored Eleven. Almost all of the characters are displayed in blackface animation except for Goldilocks who, despite being black, is actually depicted as a beautiful, normal-looking woman. The look is not completely PC, but it is definitely a big improvement. It makes you wonder why they did not also use the same animation style for Red Riding Hood, who looks as offensive as ever. As far as the plot goes, this one actually has a decent plot twist it doesnt just tell the story of Goldilocks, but also combines it with Little Red Riding Hood. The Big Bad Wolf finds out that Red Riding Hood will be late so instead he decides to eat Goldilocks who visits the three bears (who are a jazz trio) across the street. He fails though when the bears start a jitterbug dance-off, and the wolf proves to be no match to Goldilocks on the dance floor. It's no wonder Warner Bros. want to forget about all these atrocities - are there any of the Censored Eleven you've had the displeasure of seeing?
