11 TV Characters Punished By Death For Their Actor’s Behaviour

9. Harrison Wright - Scandal

Colombus Short's Harrison Wright was a key part of Scandal from the beginning, appearing in 46 episodes before the actor's own scandal led to his departure from the series.

While the actor's on-set behaviour wasn't an issue, there were a number of alleged off-set domestic incidents that saw him leave the series. Short pleaded guilty to misdemeanour domestic violence in 2014, and also to a felony assault charge over a punch thrown at an in-law. He avoided jail-time on both counts as part of a plea deal, but it meant Wright was killed off from Scandal by being shot in the head at the order of Rowan.

Things haven't gotten much better for Short since leaving, with it reported back in March that the actor had been sentenced to a year in jail for another domestic violence charge, although he served just 34 days.
