8. We Interrupt This Program (WandaVision - Ep 4) - 8.8
After three episodes of not having a clue what was truly going on in Westview, as the title of episode four suggests, ‘We Interrupt This Program’ took a step away from Wanda and Vision, and focused on those outside of the Hex. No sitcom setting, this was closer to the traditional Marvel feel.
Jimmy Woo, Darcy Lewis, and Tyler Hayward all made their series debut, while Monica Rambeau was seen as Monica rather than Geraldine for the first time, and fans started to get a little more context into what was happening. Not much context, but a little. The red helicopter and the beekeeper from episode two were explained, as was what happened to Geraldine at the end of episode three.
However, it still left so much of the mystery uncovered, and left fans desperate to find out more. Arguably the strongest moment of the entire episode was at the very beginning, as it showed Monica returning from the Blip.
Spider-Man: Far From Home made a joke about people returning to where they were when they vanished, but WandaVision showed the actual chaos that ensued, and the heartbreak of Monica being told her mother had been dead for three whole years.
