7. Littlefinger's Real Plan For Sansa

According to the books, Littlefinger wants to marry Sansa to Harry the Heir and make her lady of the Vale rightfully before revealing that she is in fact Sansa and staking her claim to retake Winterfell. The fact that he seemingly has designs on her as a love interest - both in the show and in the books - suggests that that isn't the whole story, and that Harry is likely just another of his pawns. The Theory Unlike Varys, Littlefinger is interested in advancing his own status in the game, and while Sansa being more powerful will have its benefits to him, seeing her married to someone else with him scheming behind the scenes doesn't really fit with his ambitions (especially since he offered to marry her himself). Eventually, he will engineer a power play that isn't restricted by his low birth, and Sansa is likely to be at the centre of it.
