Jude Law's and Paolo Sorrentino's boisterous TV show makes a return.

In the first season, the premise of a younger and radical figure taking on the mantel of Pope made for a bizarre and chock-full plot. It was difficult to absorb at points, but it was always fascinating to watch.

The second season sees John Malkovich step into proceedings as an antagonist. The seasoned character actor is always a positive addition to anything, with the anticipation of a scenery chew-off against Law's showy performance, a welcome proposition.

The show isn't for everyone, but for those that enjoyed the initial season, this looks to step the drama up considerably.
