12 Netflix Comedy Series EVERYONE Should Binge

Released in 2018, Russian Dolls finally offered a starring role to Natasha Lyonne, a comic character actor who has been keeping us laughing in everything from 1999’s American Pie all the way through to 2016’s trippy horror comedy Antibirth before taking on the lead role in this series.

Essentially Groundhog Day as a detective series, the show follows Lyonne’s hard living heroine as she attempts to escape the stable time loop she’s become stuck in, only to end up—wouldn’t you just know it—learning some life lessons in the process. Featuring some stellar writing, this one could be carried solely by Lyonne but ends up even better thanks to its superb supporting cast.
