12 Times BoJack Horseman Was A TERRIBLE Friend

Todd, Diane, and Princess Carolyn could count themselves among BoJack Horseman's closest friends, but there were a couple of people he felt even closer to. Hollyhock was his biological sister, an actual blood relative, but it could be argued that he felt even closer to Sarah Lynn.

The horse who played the father on Horsin' Around genuinely thought of himself as a father figure to the girl who played his on-screen daughter. He felt as though she was closer than a friend, she was like family to him.

Yet, when he wanted to get wasted, he pulled his former co-star out of nine months of sobriety for a bender that would last the better part of a year, and ultimately lead to her death of a cocaine overdose. If not for the interference of BoJack, and the complete disregard for Sarah Lynn's health, she would have lived a lot longer.

The worst of it, however, was what happened after he realised she was dead. To cover his tracks, BoJack called Sarah Lynn's phone, then waited a full 17 minutes before calling 911, creating the illusion that he wasn't with her at the time of her death. The truth was, however, that the actress didn't actually die until she reached the hospital. For those 17 minutes BoJack used to create his own alibi, Sarah Lynn was alive. If he'd have called the ambulance straight away, maybe she could have been saved.
