12 TV Shows In Serious Danger Of Cancellation In 2020
1. The Flash
When The Flash first premiered in 2014, it was the second-most watched pilot in the CW’s history. The fervor wasn’t just fanboy hype: the show was fun, engaging, and had a killer cast. Comic book aficionados and noobs alike agreed that STAR Labs was the place to be.
Now in its sixth season, The Flash is a shell of the show it used to be. As the series dragged on past its second season, it became progressively harder to watch. In spite of their best efforts to write themselves out of a corner time and time again, the reduxes and retcons wore on loyal viewers. Tuning in became a chore one did out of dedication. The ratings reflect this dip in quality and now put this once stellar show in danger of cancellation.
As a mainstay of The CW and a major facet of the DC Television universe, there is a chance for renewal, but it may be kinder to put Barry and his fans out of their misery.
