13 Giant TV Questions We Can't Wait To See Answered In 2014

9. Is Amy And Sheldon's Relationship Ever Going To Reach The Next Level? - The Big Bang Theory

When Sheldon and Amy became an official couple in The Big Bang Theory... that was an odd moment. It was a very out-of-character move for the near-robotic Sheldon Cooper. But their relationship is hardly normal. Sheldon still has an aversion to intimate human contact and he generally treats their relationship more like a contractual obligation than a close bond. Amy, on the other hand, is much more interested in affection. There are occasional moments where their attitudes towards relationships meet in the middle and we get a very brief view of some romantic contact between them. In terms of their romantic progress, Sheldon and Amy are still on the playground. There are rumours that this year's Valentines episode will take their relationship up a notch. Will it work? How far will they go? Can the writers pull something like this off without completely ruining Sheldon's bizarrely loveable character?
