4. Sense8 Unknown, Netflix
Now we've reached the point in the list where the details are less forthcoming, as some of these projects have yet to even begin filming, but Sense8 in particular has been absolutely shrouded in secrecy. It was ordered by Netflix almost a year ago, and until recently just about the only information known for certain was that it will be the small screen debut of the Wachowskis, known for the Matrix films and, more recently, Cloud Atlas. Of course, that alone is big news, but the presence of J. Michael Strazynski of Babylon 5 as showrunner puts Sense8 at must-watch status in 2014. It doesn't begin filming until June, so will probably see a release on Netflix late in the year, but to whet your appetite, the synopsis has recently been released. Sense8 will follow eight people across the world who find themselves telepathically linked by a vision, and must fight to survive against assassination attempts. It will also be filmed in the UK, Seoul, Mumbai, Nairobi, Berlin, Mexico City, San Francisco and Chicago, according to TVLine. In other words, it's a cross between Heroes and FlashForward let's hope it doesn't also lose traction after its opening episodes.
