13 Problems Only Game Of Thrones Fans Will Understand

5. You Can Never Care About Anyone Ever

Game of Thrones has created an immense array of characters to care about, all bringing something different and with various reasons to like them. That's where the problem starts. Remember season 1, how Ned was the main protagonist and he was a really good, honourable guy that everyone liked? Yeah, then he got beheaded. It was ok though, because there was his son and heir, Robb, the Young Wolf. He'd lead the North to glory and be the hero we deserved. Oh. But we recovered in season 4, thanks to the arrival of Prince Oberyn Martell, one of the best characters from the entire series, a man full of charm and wit, yet also completely dangerous. Naturally, then, he had his skull crushed to a bloody pulp. Thankfully we still had Jon Snow, and as one of the main heroes he was obviously going nowhere, right? Wrong. F**k Olly. The moral is that you should never get close to anyone, never let yourself care about them, because they're all going to be brutally murdered.
