8. The Panty Piñata Polarization

Title Reference: Sheldon hangs Penny's laundry from a telephone wire and taunts Penny to play "panty piñata". After Penny gets her second and third "strike" from Sheldon, for touching his food and sitting in his spot, she is banished from the apartment. Unlike Howard, Raj and Leonard she refuses to "knuckle under" and won't apologise to Sheldon. What follows is a battle of wits and deviance between Penny and Sheldon. This involves Penny implying she had touched Sheldon's food at the Cheesecake Factory so that he won't eat it, Sheldon blocks Penny from their wi-fi and gives the guys extra strikes for, I quote, "circumventing his will" by helping Penny. Penny then uses all the laundry machines on Sheldon's laundry night, preventing him from doing his laundry and upsetting his meticulously planned routine. In retaliation Sheldon takes Penny's laundry and manages to hang them from a telephone line outside his window. To end and win the fight Penny calls Sheldon's mother, who forces him to apologise to Penny, which he does. During this time Raj and Howard have been searching for the house where the models from "America's Next Top Model" live. The episode ends as they find the house full of beautiful women and are invited in under the guise of cable men.
Best Moment: After Penny asks how he got her clothes onto the telephone wire Sheldon responds "Anything is possible once you know the laws of physics.
