Some folks are born into a lifestyle, others choose it. Gemma Teller-Morrow married into the biker life. With her maternal streak buried deep beneath her coiffed do and biker chick attire, she keeps the SAMCRO boys in check. So its no surprise that she adopts one wicked behaviour from the club: a penchant for offing those she doesnt like. Gemma fluctuates from good guy, to victim, to a completely ruthless badass with zero remorse. Shes got one driving force behind her that none of the other SOA have: shes a mother, and will fiercely defend her son, Jax and her grandson, Abel. While her final nefarious act at the end of season six was devastating - it wasnt entirely out of character. Shes shot, stabbed and scratched the eyes of her friends, nevermind her enemies. Shes manipulated her son, his ex-wife, the SAMCRO guys... all with her eye set firmly on things turning out her way. Who knows how she would have behaved if her son hadnt been mired in the centre of a notorious gang - maybe her loyalty would have presented itself differently. Not in cold-blooded murder.
