There's a lot of hype for Blade Runner 2049, a sequel to the 1982 movie based on Philip K. Dick's book 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?'. It's a continuation of the screen's love affair with the sci-fi author, and that's going to be taken further by Channel 4 and Amazon, who are teaming up for a 10-episode anthology series based on his work.

Produced by Bryan Cranston and Ronald D. Moore, it'll tackle stories like The Commuter, The Father-Thing, and Autofac, and includes a lot of starry names both in front and behind the camera: Jack Thorne will write an episode, Alan Taylor will direct one, and the cast list features Timothy Spall, Jack Reynor, Benedict Wong, Steve Buscemi, Anna Paquin, Janelle Monae, and Cranston himself.

Air Date: September 17
