15 Most Hotly Anticipated TV Shows Of Summer 2017

1. Game Of Thrones

Although usually beginning in April, Game of Thrones arrives later this year due to a delayed production schedule, meaning the biggest thing about this summer is the arrival of winter.

The series is spiralling towards its endgame, with just 13 episodes left in total, and Season 7 will be comprised of seven instalments. It's not long, but it should be insane: Jon's King in the North, Cersei's Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, Daenerys and her huge dragons are finally in Westeros, and the White Walkers are ready to come south.

The Season 7 trailer gave us a good look at the epic action we can expect, while also confirming some major rumours, and when this finally airs it's unlikely anything else will be able to compete.

Premiere Date: July 16
