Another series from the ridiculously prolific Ryan Murphy, whose track record is of creating shows that can be hit and miss in terms of quality, but almost always have something worth talking about.

It's unclear where Pose will fall, but it once again has an interesting hook: set in New York during the 1980s, the series will examine the intersection of different walks of life at a time when both the AIDS crisis and the Trump era (in a business sense) were at their highest point.

Looking at the literary society and the origins of the drag-ball world, the show is notable for including five transgender actors among its regular cast, led by M.J. Rodriguez, with over 100 LGBTQ+ people working on the show overall, along with previous Murphy collaborators Evan Peters and Kate Mara.
