15 Most Rewatchable Sci-Fi TV Shows Of The 21st Century

7. Deep Space Nine

Yes, alright, so it may not be the best Trek iteration—that title goes, of course, to Voyager. Now get that cheese to sickbay.

But Deep Space Nine is nonetheless worthy of a re-watch as one of the franchise’s more underrated offerings.

The CGI may not be ideal and the post Next Generation/ pre JJ Abrams writing may slide into corniness on occasion, but it’s a more morally ambiguous and often darker imagining of the Star Trek universe which occasionally traffics in plots as dark and inventive as anything on offer in its competitors Battlestar Galactica and Babylon Five.

Revisit this one and see for yourself—the likeable crew are amongst the best balanced casts on any iteration of Gene Rodenberry’s hugely popular franchise.
