8. Conviction
Although Agent Carter has just been cancelled after two seasons, Hayley Atwell is sticking around on ABC. She'll be headlining the network's new drama Conviction, in which she will play the former First Daughter-turned-lawyer. She ends up working for the Criminal Investigation Unit in order to avoid jail time for cocaine possession and hurting her mother's Senate campaign.
Based on the trailer, Atwell looks to be having a good time in the role, and she's deserving of having a success after the cancellation of Carter. There's some solid support too, with the likes of X-Men's Shawn Ashmore and The Walking Dead's Emily Kinney. The series is co-created by director Liz Friedlander (The Following) and writer/producer Liz Friedman (Jessica Jones, House).
