Roxann Dawson stepped behind the camera to direct twelve episodes, two of VOY and ten of ENT.
Dawson's entry into the world of TV was the daytime soap opera Another World. She played several smaller parts in TV and direct to video films before landing the role of half-Klingon/half-human B'Elanna Torres on VOY, a role that Dawson said she loved because it allowed her to give vent to her real-life anger and frustration with life through B'Elanna's frequent outbursts of rage and violence due to her Klingon heritage.
Out of all the actors in this list, Dawson is the one who has best transferred her time directing Star Trek episodes into more widespread work. Since her work with Star Trek, she has directed episodes of popular shows including Crossing Jordan, The O.C., Lost, Cold Case, Heroes, The Closer, The Good Wife, and The Mentalist.
