15 Superhero Voice Actors Who Totally Nailed Their Characters

5. Jeffrey Combs: The Question

By now you've probably guessed that Justice League was a Romano-led project, what with all the quality talent behind it and all.

One such actor that Romano introduced to the show was Jeffrey Combs, someone who, apart from having one of the coolest voices in the biz, had already illustrated his voice acting talents in BTAS as The Scarecrow. Come Justice League, however, the actor was drafted into playing The Question, a lesser-known creation of Steve Ditko who found relative fame in the eighties under the pairing of Dennis O'Neil and Denys Cowan.

JLU's interpretation of the character may depart from the source material somewhat, but it's by no means an unfaithful portrayal. Combs in particular embodies both the snark and spirituality of Vic Sage remarkably well, and, despite only featuring in five of the many, many episodes in the series, The Question remains one of its most highly rated aspects - orange socks and all.
