On a more serious note, it transpired that during 2013, after her stint on Broadway and as the show's third season drew to a close, Clarke was admitted to hospital. She suffered a brain aneurysm, but recovered in time to start filming the fourth season. Still, there has been no official statement made by HBO or Clarke about the incident, though an insider told the National Enquirer: "Emilia is doing really well now and she should be OK moving forward. "No one really knows what caused the aneurysm. It seems like a fluke thing."
